Vegetarian Meals

"Eat together, dance together, pray together."

This is the core vision of peace condensed by DUP founder Samuel Lewis in his later years.

We will share delicious, earth-friendly vegetarian meals together. We kindly invite everyone to bring your own reusable utensils, allowing the harmony of our songs and dances to flow through our meals and extend into our daily lives.

⟢ Financial Transparency & Freewill Donation ⟣

This event is entirely non-profit. Your registration fee will be fully allocated to cover the following essential expenses:

  1. Venue rental, materials, and administrative overhead
  2. On-site meals and professional interpretation
  3. Necessary travel, meals, and accommodation expenses for the instructor and touring team

In addition, this tour has been organized by the Taiwan team through seven months of voluntary, unpaid preparation. If you feel moved or inspired by the end of the event, you are more than welcome to make a freewill donation based on your financial comfort. Your support will go entirely towards:

  1. Supporting the long-term operations and future promotion of the DUP Taiwan community (including honorariums for the organizing team, instrument maintenance, and local dance circle management).
  2. Future international instructor/dance leader invitation programs.

【 Scholarship Application Guidelines 】

We deeply believe that everyone who is willing to facilitate and promote DUP in Taiwan is a gardener sowing the seeds of harmony and healing.

To honor the international DUP community's tradition of "sharing" and to support future facilitators who long to introduce this beautiful practice to more people, we have established a limited number of scholarship slots for this 3-day, 2-night retreat to ease your financial burden.

This resource is made possible by the generosity and love of our supporters. Because spots are limited, selection will be based on the insights you share in the application fields. We sincerely invite you, if you are passionate about bringing DUP to more communities and deepening local exchanges, to submit your application. Let us join hands to nourish the growth of the DUP community in Taiwan.

⚠️ Note: Scholarship recipients must agree to bring their own tents and pitch them independently within the campground.

【 Important Dates & Timeline 】

  1. Scholarship Application Deadline: Scholarship applications are open from now until July 31.
  2. Results Notification: We will send out email notifications to all accepted applicants (including both primary and waitlisted spots) by August 7.
  3. Payment Deadline: Selected primary recipients must transfer the full payment for the Scholarship Ticket by August 14. Failure to do so will be considered a forfeiture of the spot, which will then be offered to waitlisted applicants in order, or left unfilled.
