Sometimes, in order to push back against the chaos of the world, we live our lives in isolation, heavily guarded.
In truth, we are all water molecules in this vast world. Whether you are a morning dew, vanishing vapor, or a still, deep pool along this ever changing journey, please remember: your inner being already fully possesses the essence and immensity of the entire ocean.
Dances of Universal Peace (DUP) invites you to gather in a circle, hold hands, and sing ancient prayers and mantras from around the world. This is a gift of inner and outer harmony for yourself. Supported by one another, let us return to our true nature and naturally remember—we are the ocean itself.
"You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean, in a drop." — Rumi

This year, Taiwan welcomes its third international DUP leader. Munira (Rev. Elizabeth Reed, Ph.D.), a Senior Mentor from the USA, will be visiting Taiwan for the very first time.
Munira is a psychospiritual therapist, retired clergy member, spiritual director, and senior teacher in the Dances of Universal Peace. Growing up in the Deep South of the USA during the 1960s shaped her lifelong vision for a just and inclusive world.
Her work integrates spirituality, healing, interfaith dialogue, and sacred embodiment. For more than 20 years, she has focused on peacemaking and interfaith work through the Abwoon Resource Center and the Dances of Universal Peace, leading retreats and trainings on mystical Aramaic teachings and goddess spirituality.
Munira currently mentors younger leaders worldwide through the Beyond Initiative. She serves the Message of Love, Harmony, and Beauty as a Ruhaniat Sheikha, Cherag, Senior DUP Mentor, member of the DUP International Board of Directors, and on the Ethics Councils of DUP and SRI.
She is also the director of the nonprofit Shalem Center in Columbus, Ohio, dedicated to holistic healing and growth through interdisciplinary and interfaith perspectives. In addition to her teaching and mentoring, she has published numerous articles and an educational manual on feminist and Aramaic themes.
